Un/Uttered: Asian Art Collectives in Dialogue + Micro Film Festival was co-organised by Open Contemporary Art Center, Tra-Travel (Japan) and Osaka Art Hub, with the festival programmed by P.M.S. The event took place on 3–4 February 2024 at FIGYA in Osaka, Japan. Over two days the programme moved between Indigenous Taiwanese cinema, the operational realities of independent Asian art organisations, and perspectives from Vietnam, the Philippines and Japan, holding a question: what is uttered, and what remains unsaid?

Talk: Nine Questions
Titled “Nine Questions: Exploring the Activities and Global Collaborations of Art Organisations — Perspectives from Taipei and Ho Chi Minh City”, the talk paired OCAC with Mary Lou of Sàn Art (HCMC) to consider tensions of global collaboration, resource distribution, language/translation, and local work for independent Asian art organisations.
The curatorial team of “Older Women Film Festival, Osaka” also visited during the programme and joined the exchange.
