‘archipiélago’ is a membership-fluid community that has been meeting irregularly at OCAC since 2018. Through reading groups, themed sharings, ‘Grand People’s Cafeteria’ and ‘All-Wrong Meetings’, it connects a broad public beyond the art field. Its collaboration with No Man’s Land and the Archipiélago Archive has given rise to ongoing extensions such as the ‘Letters to the Future Archipelago’ online workshop and the ‘Archipiélago Airlines’ curatorial programme, consistently using the image of ’two-way bridges between islands’ as a working metaphor.
