‘ACELab’ is a sharing and research laboratory co-designed by OCAC and Filipina independent researcher Marika Constantino. Centred on the concept of ‘alternative currency’, it rethinks the intangible value produced in cross-cultural exchange, long-running projects and collective action. Together with Filipino artist JK Anicoche, Indonesian performance artist Ferrial Affif and Taiwanese theatre maker Lin Hsinyi, the programme pushed a ‘creative blockchain’ that links and translates individuals across different art worlds.
