Starting with the words one has said that… , the audience are presented to the historical background of the exhibition site. The true identity of that someone is never actually revealed. As the main theme of this exhibition, that “someone” does not necessarily represent any particular individual; rather, it embodies the compilation of many resources, such as historical documents, photographs, oral traditions, newspaper articles etc. People reinterpret and recreate new stories with these narratives, extending the length of its territory. Therefore, we do not exclusively focus on the beauty of the shape of Chinese characters, but also try to envisage the artistic cultural progression of language and word symbols, especially emphasizing on the literary expressions.
